Mt Duneed Estate Moscato
Winemaking: A perfect spring and good flowering was followed by a warm, dry ripening period which was perfectly suited for Muscat grapes. Fine weather throughout Summer helped to develop the delicate fruit flavours, resulting in intense floral and excellent sugar levels.
Fruit is harvested in the cool of night and left on skins for about six hours to encourage hints of pink from the Black Muscat. The cool juice is then fermented slowly with carbonation added at bottling.
Lifted muscat florals combined with sweet red fruits and a hint of honey. Intense red berries and Muscat florals are balanced by crisp acid to provide a smooth and persistent finish.
