Mt Duneed Estate Cabernet Sauvignon


Region: Victoria.

Winemaking: Destemmed and crushed grapes were fermented at moderate temperatures
with regular pump overs to carefully extract colour and tannin. At the end of fermentation, 20%
of the wine was aged in oak barrels for 10 months. Vegan. The ripening season was perfect for late ripening varieties such as Cabernet
Sauvignon. The mild, long autumn provided the perfect ripening conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is a blend of the best wines from the Yarra Valley, Upper Goulburn and Geelong  to showcase the strength of the vintage. Aromas and flavours of blackcurrant, cassia
and blueberry are supported by fine grained tannins.

Occasion: The cooler nights of spring and summer deserve to be rewarded with a glass of our Cabernet Sauvignon and a big chunk of roast meat
