Mt Duneed Estate Chardonnay

Vintage Conditions: A cool and wet growing season kept yields low, and was followed by a mild and dry harvest, allowing fruit to ripen and retain aromatics and natural acidity. An outstanding year for white varieties.

Vinification: Machine picked in the cool of the night. Pressed to tank. Settled overnight and racked with light solids to tank and barrels for fermentation. Sulphured when dry.

Palate: Flavours of lemon curd and fig with subtle hints of oak. Finishes with a slight creamy texture cream.

Appearance: Pale straw.

Bouquet: Nectarine, cashew, melon.

Oak: Matured for 6 months with French oak on lees (15%new).

Cellaring: Up to 3 years. Contains sulphites. Vegan friendly.
