Movies In The Vines - FAQ

We look forward to welcoming you to our Movies In The Vines screening.  If you have any additional questions please feel free to call us on 03 5266 1244 and we will be happy to discuss with you.

Q What ticket options are there and what do I need to bring?
Each person will need to purchase an entry ticket.
Please bring along your own picnic rug or bean bag (no chairs please).  If you would like to purchase a chair to use on the night, we will have chairs to hire for $5 each.  You can purchase this on the night or when booking.  A designated chair section will be set up at the back of the grassed area so as not to impact viewing of other guests.

Please ensure that you bring along warm clothing and blankets as the evenings do get quite cold even after a sunny summers day!

Q What time does the movie start?
The movie start time is dependent on sunset on that particular day. We aim for movie to start between 8.45pm and 9pm.  If the movie is moved indoors into The Barrel Hall, the screening will begin at 8:30pm.

Q What food and beverage options are available?
Cheese and Vignerons boxes and Sweet boxes (for 2) are available to pre-purchase when purchasing your ticket. There will be some available to purchase on the night however to ensure you receive one we encourage you to pre-purchase.

A snack/candy bar selling popcorn and movie treats will be operating on the grassed area. EFTPOS facilities will be available.

Our bar will be located near the cinema area and will stock our wine, beer, cider slushies and frose', along with soft drinks and tea & coffee.

Q When do we get tickets?
A No ticket will be issued. The name of your booking will allow you to enter the cinema area. Only those who have paid for their ticket prior to the evening will be reserved a spot.

Q Can I bring my own food and beverages?
Strictly no BYO food and beverages

Q What happens if it rains?
We unfortunately cannot control the weather. If the weather is unkind we will move the screening indoors into The Barrel Hall.  This will be communicated on Instagram and Facebook as well as phone call made to the booking organiser.

Please note that in instances of high winds, the screen company will determine if it is safe to screen the movie. Every effort will be made to ensure the evening goes ahead outdoors, but customer safety is the most important thing. If this is the case, we will move the screening indoors into The Barrel Hall.  Communication of a move indoors will be made on our Instagram and Facebook pages along with phone calls to the booking organiser.

Q Is there parking available?
We have ample parking available on site.
