Pettavel Road Amber Ale
The Story Behind The Beer
When it came to choosing a Pettavel Road resident to represent our Amber Ale, we couldn't look past a certain ram named Wendall.
Wendell actually lives on the other side of the quarry, but the whole valley may as well be his home. He's fathered sheep all over the district. Fittingly, Wendell's name means 'traveller'. Just like our beer, which we hope (fingers crossed) will one day be sold around the country.
Our Amber Ale is robust, well-rounded and on the stronger side. Just like Wendell.
A medium bodied Style Ale with a reddish amber hue.
A malt-driven beer with initial sweetness and mild aroma.
The use of Kent Golding hops results in an ale with low bitterness while the addition of a small batch of roasted barley achieves a dry, smooth finish.
